TheCressi Reel R30is designed to go on the Cressi guns to give extra line when hunting larger fish. This particular one suits the Yuma, Mohawk, Pacific, Cherokee, Commanche, Moicano and Sioux. It holds 30 meters of line (not included) which is plenty when diving at depths and is made from a strong and durable plastic. Majority of the Cressi guns come with the mounting bracket already on so it is as easy as opening up the reel packet and sideing the reel in to place. There is a tension knob on the reel and a line guide as well as a handle to reel the line back in.With a gun reel, you can eliminate the float as when the fish takes off and you need to get some air, the 30 meter line will be plenty for you to get to the surface.Then you can pull the line in to retreive your fish. The reel is not designed to be used as a fishing line reel, you will need to pull the line in hand over hand then reel the line on after your fish is off.
